The Political Action Committee is a vital part of LIBI’s advocacy work. Through the PAC, LIBI members collectively support candidates who understand the importance of housing, construction, economic development, and real estate on Long Island. These contributions help ensure that the building industry has a strong voice in shaping policies that directly impact our region’s future.

By pooling member resources, the PAC is able to make meaningful contributions to key campaigns at the town, county, and state levels. This strengthens LIBI’s ability to influence public policy, complementing our government affairs efforts, testimony at hearings, zoning advocacy, and ongoing engagement with elected officials.

The PAC is led by LIBI members and is chaired by Grant Havasy of Blue and Gold Homes. All members are invited to participate and play a role in determining LIBI’s political priorities. Your involvement helps advance pro-housing, pro-construction, and pro-business policies—ensuring Long Island remains a place where communities can grow and the industry can thrive.
