Job description: Residential Carpenter
Full time (40+ hours)
Residential contracting company, licensed and insured in Suffolk County
Work includes many different projects, but primarily kitchen & bathroom renovations, flooring installs, decks and home extensions.
Required to have own hand tools.
Required to have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Hard working carpenter with experience in all areas of construction and woodworking.
Strong communication and organizational skills necessary.
Must speak English.
Job Summary
We have steady work booked through December and a large project starting March 2021. We have been in business since 2009, but in the industry since 1995. We have loyal costumers year over year, so we don’t need to advertise. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and always go above and beyond the customer’s expectations.
We are seeking a skilled, reliable construction worker to assist in several projects. In this position, you will be responsible for participating in a variety of building and construction projects. You will build temporary and permanent structures, use a wide range of tools, and may have to work outdoors in a mixture of weather conditions.
Requirements and Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
State licensure to work with hazardous materials preferred but not required
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour based on experience.
2 week trial period and wages can increase based on merit
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays if desired, but not required.

- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
