We currently seek an outgoing professional with an interest in home makeovers to assist in our extensive design studio located in East Hampton. Our design centers feature fine customer and semi-custom kitchen cabinetry and high quality windows, doors and millwork.  In this role, you will need a professional demeanor and appearance to interface with architects, contractors, vendors and clients. You will develop knowledge of design and our products as you greet visitors, answer calls, maintain procurement records, update orders and troubleshoot for customer inquiries. Some clerical duties required.

To qualify, you must have minimum 1 year related experience and have proficiency in all aspects of CRM including lead generation and assignment, order entry, maintenance and project management. Proficiency in AS400 is essential to enter orders, process deposits and payments and calculating balances on orders. Superior computer, communication and organizational skills are also required.

COMMISSIONER OF BUILDING, SAFETY INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT

The Town of North Hempstead seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Commissioner of the Department of Building, Safety Inspection, and Enforcement. The Commissioner is responsible for all facets of management of the Department and its 37 employees.

The Department enforces the provisions of the New York State building code, the Town’s zoning by-laws, and all other relevant state and local codes, as well as regulations and requirements of special permits and variances issued by the Board of Zoning Appeals. The Departments staff handles issues relating to building construction techniques and processes, materials and products, design preparation and plan review. The management and customer service demands of the Department require a Commissioner with strong inter-personal skills, strong computer and technical skills, a commitment to training and staff development, and the ability to set and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in the building industry and/or code enforcement, including at least five years of management experience. A bachelors or advanced degree in Architecture, Engineering, Management, Law or a related field is preferred. Certification as a licensed Architect, Engineer, or New York State Certified Code Enforcement Official, or extensive experience with code enforcement and public safety, is also preferred.

Description:
- Order from various suppliers/vendors and prepare purchase orders
- Receive and unpack incoming orders, verify material against purchase order and handle all discrepancies

Our company is currently seeking a lawn care technician/certified pesticide applicator to join our team!! Person in this position will be responsible for running a route servicing both residential and commercial accounts by providing maintenance (mowing/edging, etc) services and lawn & Tree/Shrub pesticide applications. Candidate must have a clean NYS driver license, ability to lift 80lbs +/-, good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and great record keeping skills. Qualified candidates will have extensive horticultural and agronomic knowledge with experience in IPM programs.
Looking for highly motivated individuals who have/meet the following:
*Must have 3+ years’ experience
*Prefer candidate to have a pesticide license (category 3A), willing to train the right person.
