Brian joined the AVR team in 2005 after serving 30 years in government, 16 of which as a local elected official. In addition to his work at AVR, Brian volunteers his time to a Long Island based not-for-profit organization, Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS). CAPS provides vital Child Abuse Prevention and Anti-Bullying programs for children of all ages in schools throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. He is a past president of CAPS and is currently serving on their Board of Directors.
